Account Setup

Create and manage your UnTort account.

Creating an Account

1. Go to the Register page
2. Choose a username (this will be your login)
3. Enter your email address
4. Create a password (minimum 8 characters)
5. Click Register
6. Check your email for the activation link
7. Click the link to activate your account

Logging In

1. Go to the Login page
2. Enter your username and password
3. Optionally check Remember me for longer sessions
4. Click Login

Profile Management

Updating Your Profile

1. Go to Settings → Account
2. Update your display name or avatar
3. Click Save

Changing Your Password

1. Go to Settings → Account
2. Click Change Password
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter your new password (twice)
5. Click Save

Security

Logging Out

Click Logout in the sidebar or under your profile menu.

Session Security

• Access tokens expire after 15 minutes
• Refresh tokens last 7 days
• Logging out invalidates all tokens

Deleting Your Account

⚠️ Warning: This action is irreversible.

1. Go to Settings → Account
2. Scroll to Danger Zone
3. Click Delete Account
4. Enter your password to confirm
5. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted
